External websites and services linked from our platform may have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the data-processing practices of independent third-party websites.

3. Personal data we process

Depending on how you use our services, we may process the following categories of personal data.

3.1 Website and technical usage data

When you access our website or the Future-Ready OS, technical information may be processed automatically, including:

  • IP address;
  • date and time of access;
  • requested page or resource;
  • browser type and version;
  • device and operating-system information;
  • referring website;
  • language settings;
  • error messages;
  • session and security information;
  • server-log information.

We process this information to deliver the website, maintain technical stability, detect abuse, troubleshoot errors and protect our systems.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are the reliable, secure and efficient operation of our services.

Where correspondence must be retained for legal, tax or accounting purposes, processing may also be based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Please do not include health information, political opinions, religious beliefs or other sensitive personal information in free-text fields unless it is genuinely necessary.

5. Future-Ready OS accounts

To use certain Future-Ready OS functions, you may need to create an account.

We may process:

  • your name or chosen display name;
  • email address;
  • internal user identifier;
  • authentication information;
  • account creation date;
  • login and session information;
  • account status;
  • subscription status;
  • account preferences;
  • consent settings.

Passwords are generally handled through our authentication provider and are not visible to us in plain text.

We process this information to create and administer your account, authenticate you, provide the requested platform functions and protect the platform from unauthorized access.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Security-related processing may additionally be based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

You are required to provide the information that is marked as mandatory during registration. Without this information, we may not be able to create or maintain your account.

6. Firebase and Google services

The Future-Ready OS uses Google Firebase to provide account authentication and technical platform functions.

Depending on the final technical configuration, the Firebase services used may include:

  • Firebase Authentication;
  • Firestore or Realtime Database;
  • Firebase Hosting;
  • Cloud Functions;
  • Cloud Storage;
  • Firebase Analytics;
  • Performance Monitoring.

Firebase may process account data, user identifiers, IP addresses, device information, usage data, security information, application events and information stored through the Future-Ready OS.

We use Firebase to:

  • register and authenticate users;
  • store and retrieve application data;
  • host or deliver platform components;
  • secure the platform;
  • identify technical errors;
  • measure application performance;
  • prevent misuse.

For personal data processed by Google on our instructions as part of the contracted Firebase services, Google generally acts as our processor. Google may process certain service, security or diagnostic information for its own purposes under its applicable terms and privacy documentation.

The legal basis for account and application functions is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Security and essential technical monitoring may be based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Firebase Analytics or other optional tracking functions are only used on the basis of your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR where consent is legally required.

You may withdraw consent for optional Firebase analytics through our cookie or privacy settings.

7. Learning activities and personalization

When you use the Future-Ready OS, we may process information relating to your learning activity, including:

  • selected topics and learning paths;
  • completed exercises;
  • answers and user inputs;
  • saved content;
  • progress and completion status;
  • scores, streaks or achievements;
  • learning preferences;
  • feedback and ratings;
  • generated recommendations;
  • interaction history within the platform.

We use this information to provide the Future-Ready OS, save your progress, personalize learning content, recommend relevant exercises and improve the platform.

The legal basis for providing these functions is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where aggregated or pseudonymized information is used to evaluate and improve the platform, processing may be based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Our legitimate interest is to understand whether the platform functions properly and to improve its learning experience.

Do not enter confidential business information, passwords, financial account information, health information or other sensitive personal data into exercises or open-text fields.

8. Payments and subscriptions through Stripe

We use Stripe to process payments and manage subscriptions.

When you purchase a subscription or paid service, Stripe may process:

  • your name;
  • billing address;
  • email address;
  • payment method information;
  • payment amount and currency;
  • transaction date;
  • subscription status;
  • payment identifiers;
  • fraud-prevention and security information;
  • tax-related information where applicable.

We normally do not receive your complete card number. Payment details are entered into and processed through Stripe’s payment environment.

We use payment information to process purchases, administer subscriptions, issue invoices, manage refunds and meet accounting and tax obligations.

The legal bases are:

  • Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for processing payments and performing the contract;
  • Article 6(1)(c) GDPR for statutory tax and accounting obligations;
  • Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for payment security, fraud prevention and the establishment or defence of legal claims.

Depending on the specific processing activity, Stripe may act as our processor or as an independent controller. Stripe may process information independently where required for fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, financial-network requirements and the security of its payment services.

Stripe’s own privacy information is available through the Stripe Privacy Center.

We retain invoices and transaction records for the periods required under applicable tax, commercial and accounting laws.

9. Newsletter and marketing communications

You may subscribe to receive newsletters, product updates, learning content or other communications.

For this purpose, we may process:

  • your email address;
  • your name, where provided;
  • the date and time of registration;
  • your consent record;
  • the confirmation status of your subscription;
  • newsletter delivery and interaction information, where enabled.

We use Matomo Analytics to understand how visitors and users interact with Future-Ready.net and the Future-Ready OS.

  • clicks and navigation paths;
  • application events;
  • conversion or subscription events;
  • pseudonymous identifiers.

Where available, we configure analytics services to reduce data collection, limit retention and avoid unnecessary identification.

12. Hosting and WordPress

Future-Ready.net is operated using WordPress and is hosted through Hostinger.

The hosting provider may process IP addresses, server logs, database content, contact-form information and other data required to provide and secure the hosting infrastructure.

The legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, where hosting is necessary to provide services to registered users, and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in securely and reliably operating the website.

WordPress plugins may process additional information.

Plugins that do not process personal data or communicate with external providers do not need to be listed individually.

13. Recipients and processors

We only disclose personal data where this is necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, required by law or authorized by you.

Recipients may include:

  • hosting and infrastructure providers;
  • Google Firebase;
  • Stripe and financial service providers;
  • newsletter providers;
  • analytics providers;
  • email and communication providers;
  • IT security, maintenance and support providers;

  • optional analytics data is retained according to the configured analytics-retention period;
  • payment and invoice records are retained for applicable statutory periods;
  • security logs are retained for a limited period unless needed to investigate an incident.

When data is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymized unless continued storage is legally required.

21. Personalization and automated processing

The Future-Ready OS may analyze your selected interests, learning activity, progress and preferences to recommend learning content or adapt your experience.

This processing may constitute profiling in the general sense that user activity is evaluated to provide personalized recommendations.

We do not currently use solely automated decision-making that produces legal effects or similarly significant effects for users.

Personalized learning recommendations do not make employment, credit, insurance, legal or other high-impact decisions about you.

22. Children

Future-Ready.net and the Future-Ready OS are not intended for children under the age of 16.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 without the authorization required by applicable law. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data without appropriate authorization, please contact us so that we can investigate and delete the information where necessary.

23. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, providers, legal requirements or data-processing activities change.

The current version will be published on Future-Ready.net. Where changes materially affect registered users, we may also provide notice through the Future-Ready OS or by email.
